Daily Schedule

A balanced school day designed for learning, focus, and well-being

Designed With Students in Mind

Our school day is intentionally designed to give students focused learning time, meaningful enrichment, and space to recharge. We believe children learn best when their days are structured, engaging, and balanced—without being overwhelming.

Monday–Thursday: Full school days

Core academic instruction takes place Monday through Thursday.

Mornings are dedicated to core academics, including reading, writing, and math, with science and social studies thoughtfully integrated throughout the day.

This is focused, meaningful learning—not rushed or screen-heavy.

Afternoons are designed to deepen learning and support individual students. During this time, students participate in enrichment clusters, foreign language learning, and collaborative projects.

This schedule allows teachers to work one-on-one or in small groups with students to fill learning gaps, extend understanding, and provide personalized support—so students don’t fall behind.

Support happens during the school day, not after it.

Friday: No regular student classes; school open for support, tutoring, and field trips

Students do not attend regular classes on Fridays. Fridays help us protect instructional time during the week while better supporting students and families.

We believe students don’t need longer school days—they need better ones. This schedule prioritizes focus, creativity, relationships, and support while respecting students’ time and energy.

Throughout the morning, students have short, intentional breaks to reset, explore, and learn through play. These moments help students stay focused, creative, and motivated during academic learning.

  • STEM tools (coding robots, building materials)

  • Creative play and imagination

  • Quiet reading or library time

These breaks help students return to learning refreshed and ready to work.

Learning Through Play & Independent Exploration

What Fridays Are For

Fridays are reserved for teacher planning, student support, family meetings, and field trips. This allows families flexibility for appointments while ensuring core academic time remains focused Monday through Thursday.

  • One-on-one or small-group tutoring

  • Parent meetings and conferences

  • Field trips and community learning

  • Teacher preparation and planning

Intentional Use of Technology

Technology is used thoughtfully and intentionally. Students use screens for research, collaboration, and sharing their work—but most learning is hands-on, discussion-based, and teacher-guided.

We believe young learners benefit most from active learning rather than extended screen time.
